![]() ![]() I literally beat Super Hexagon an hour or 2 ago lol. From one side, to the centre of any other side. Ok?Īlso, train yourself to take the shortest path across the hexagon possible to solve any pattern. Specifically, you know that one pattern where you have alternating pieces in each layer? Some people solve that by hitting left-left-left-left-etc, or right-right-right-right-right. That's wrong, because if you either pick a direction that sends the trinagle in the same direction as screenspin, or the screen starts spinning in the same direction as you're going, it becomes quite easy to lose track. Solve that pattern with left-right-left right or right-left-right-left alterations, and your triangle will only spin about as fast as the screen itself does. Generally, to beat Hyper Hexagonest every time, you want the ability to put your triangle wherever you want it to be with precison of about +/- 1/5th of a side, and the ability to read patterns at the very edge of the screen. This? Is best aquired via obsessive practice. I beat HH after about 18 hours, so you're already doing better than me! Keep at it.Terry Cavanagh’s Super Hexagon is the hardest game I’ve ever played. The gameplay is addictive, to say the least. The feeling is akin to what I imagine slot machine play must feel like to a gambling addict. There is no natural end, just a series of checkpoints, the last of which (“Hexagon”) comes at 60 seconds.Ī single game can cost less than 5 seconds before you crash into one of the infinite, endlessly collapsing geometric shapes.
